Equi+Poise Farrier Limited is a friendly, professional and reliable farriery business that undertakes all types of shoeing and trimming, particularly specialising in remedial and therapeutic work. We also offer assistance with the diagnosis and treatment of conformational issues through corrective shoeing.
All horses, ponies and donkeys of all ages, breeds and temperaments can be catered for. Mobile shoeing takes place Monday – Friday in Wiltshire, Hampshire and Dorset. Surrounding areas are covered but may be subject to a small travel charge.
Shoeing at the forge is available on Saturday afternoons or midweek if required. There are two fully equipped shoeing bays at the forge which are spacious and comfortable, and a large car park for trailer parking.
Shoeing at the forge can be combined with use of local hacking routes or the indoor school by prior arrangement, at no extra cost. If you would like to find out more about shoeing at the forge please contact us.

Other services we provide are abscess care, crack repairs, extension fittings, and the use of filler, impression materials and pads — prices for these may vary and will be discussed upon consultation. We have a wide range of shoes varying from a simple concave shoe right through to bar shoes, so every hoof shape and size is catered for.
Please note there is a charge of £30–35 for lost shoes. The price depends on the area in which you are based and whether you have the shoe.
